We believe in the time-honored practice of supporting women from pregnancy, through birth and into motherhood. A Birth Doula (also known as a Labor Doula) supports a couple through pregnancy and birth. Our birth doulas act as a birth coach, advocate and are knowledgeable about the facets of labor as well as the medical or home birth environments. Birth doulas support the expectant mother and birth partner as they experience their unique journeys through pregnancy and birth. Set up a free consultation.
Relax confidently into motherhood with the experienced care of a Postpartum Doula to help facilitate the bonding process. A Postpartum Doula helps new mothers ease into her new role and learn how to fully enjoy the early weeks with her baby. Postpartum Doulas help with baby care, mother-baby attachment, light housework, siblings, allowing the mother time to rest and heal and much more. A Postpartum Doula’s job is to foster the bond between mother and baby so when the doula leaves for home, the mom is empowered to care for the baby on her own. Birthing your baby is a rite of passage whether vaginal or cesarean, medicated or non-medicated. And, depending on your birth outcome it can bring up a normal flood of mixed emotions. Birth Story Listening offers a one on one listening technique designed specifically for birth. If you feel stuck or troubled by a particular aspect of your experience, this process may help you find insight, new perspective, and a sense of peace. Or, if you'd rather chat about your wonderful experience, we are happy to share in the excitement with listening ears! A Birth Story Listening Session lasts approximately 45-60 minutes in the privacy of your home. This is a complimentary session when you hire a birth doula. If you'd like more information, please contact Claudia Tillman at (404) 213-0026.
