Patti Schultz, Postpartum Doula

Patti always knew that she adored babies and loved being with them, but it wouldn’t be until many years later that she discovered her calling as a postpartum doula.  Being able to help families get off to a great start with their new baby or growing family is one of her greatest joys.  She tailors her services to best meet the needs of the families she supports.  This includes breastfeeding education and support, baby care, soothing techniques, and baby wearing instruction in addition to meal prep, laundry, organizing and helping with siblings.

She is a CAPPA certified Postpartum Doula and has over 5 years experience of assisting families in this role.  She breastfed her own baby and used many of the comfort and soothing techniques with him that she teaches today.  It is a great gift to be asked to help a family as they begin their journey into parenthood.

Testimonial: "Patti was truly a lifesaver!  After giving birth a month early and as a first time mom, her calm, happy, and encouraging attitude were just what we needed.  I trusted her completely with our son. She went over and above what our expectations were of having a post-partum doula.  I only wish we could have had her longer!" (Jennifer... A very grateful mom!)

Quite simply, Patti is absolutely amazing! She is incredibly gentle and caring and was such a wonderful calming presence to have in the house in the midst of the chaos that a newborn brings. She was an absolute life saver in so many ways, really looking after me and my son and knowing instinctively exactly what we really needed. I really appreciate the wonderful guidance and advice offered (when I asked for it!) and her experience is very evident. My son absolutely loves her too - she has endless patience and such a warm and loving approach. She has been the perfect post partum doula for our family! (Sian E.)
