Our 4 Week Atlanta Childbirth Class Begins in January

The Lumina Birth Course is conducted by Liz Johnson, certified doula and childbirth educator and also co-director of Embrace. Liz's four-week childbirth class teaches available birthing options and how to labor with an open, relaxed mind about natural childbirth. She encourages you to be an educated consumer of the maternity healthcare system by discussing interventions, medicines, communicating with caregivers and birth plans. Also included is the physiology of childbirth, stages of labor, proper nutrition, comfort measures, breath awareness, relaxation, breastfeeding, and more. This class is located at Pinebloom Mansion at 1585 S. Ponce De Leon Ave., Atlanta, GA 30306. The next four week childbirth series begins Tuesday, January 24, 2012 from 6:30 pm until 9:00 pm. The cost is $189 per couple.
