Cathy Bonk, MD

Cathy earned her MD from Emory University after earning a bachelors degree and Masters of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University. She has been in private practice for 20 years and is a mother of two. She enjoys reading, working out and cooking.

Marc Tanenbaum, MD

Marc is a pediatrician with over thirty years’ experience in general pediatrics. He is currently North Atlanta’s only full-time house-call pediatrician, and he teaches a regular free “Ask a Pediatrician” workshop. Dr. Tanenbaum earned his undergraduate degree from Duke University and his medical doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania. He performed his residency and training at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Tanenbaum has three children, three dogs and one cat, and has been married to his wonderful wife for over forty years. In his spare time, he enjoys science fiction, sailing and cooking.

Tiffany D. Davis, LMSW, Ed.S

Tiffany is a licensed master social worker and professional school counselor. She has experience working in education as well as in community practice facilitating groups and conducting individual counseling. As a mother of one who has experienced anxiety Tiffany has a strong desire to offer support to new mothers as they enter into motherhood and find balance in their lives.

Dr. Joyce Gale, CHB, CHt, DCH, DD, D.MT, CFT, M.NLP, M.EFT

Joyce is a Doctor of Clinical Hypnotherapy and has extensive training in clinical hypnotherapy, emotional freedom techniques, neurolinguistic programming, HypnoBirthing, fertility, and pain management. She is in full time practice in Atlanta and Dallas, Georgia, where she lives with her husband of 32 years plus 6 of her 7 children (and 2 dogs!) Five of her children are adopted with special needs. Joyce enjoys going on cruises, reading, sewing, painting, and spending time with her family. She truly has a servant’s heart and brings that devotion to her teaching and practice.

Leslie Petosa, MMSc

Leslie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Colorado and a Masters degree in Medical Sciences from Southern University. She has practiced as a nurse anesthetist(?)at a metro Atlanta hospital since 2006. She is the mother of two beautiful young girls, and in her “spare time” she trains to run marathons and practices Bikram yoga. She teaches Lumina Birth’s Epidural Prep Class.

Megan Tucker, RN, BSN

Megan has more than 10 years of nursing experience in labor and delivery, mother/baby and high-risk perinatal at Northside Hospital, in the infertility field at an IVF private practice, and has practiced home health nursing, specializing in medical/surgical, wound care and orthopedics. She teaches childbirth, infant CPR, and lactation classes for Lumina Birth. As a consultant with Moms on Call for the last six years, Megan has provided support to over 600 families around the world. Megan’s intense passion and mantra is to create a peaceful, low-stress home full of well-rested family members. Megan herself had high-risk pregnancies, endured bed rest and survived a preemie with substantial allergy and GI issues. A native of Nashville, Megan holds a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Tennessee. She is the mother of two daughters and stepmother of two now-grown sons. She and her husband live in the Sandy Springs area and love travel and outdoor sports like hiking and biking.

Barbara Negelow, RN, CCE

Barbara graduated from Kennesaw University School of Nursing 1983 and began a nursing career which has thrived for the last 30 years.  During that time, she has educated and cared for hundreds of families.  In 2009, the Atlanta Journal Constitution honored her with its Nurse of Excellence award.  She was also awarded Nurse of the Year in 2012 by the March of Dimes Georgia Chapter.  When Barbara isn’t caring for babies and their mothers, she enjoys reading and traveling the world, and she is a proud grandmother of eight.  Some of the classes she teaches are Baby Basics and Everything You Want to Know About Labor and Delivery.

Christine Carr, RN

Christine earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa and her master’s degree from Loyola University of Chicago.  She is a Registered Nurse who has worked with infants and their parents for more thatn 20 years.  She is a happy mother of three and enjoys biking, jogging, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.  Classes she teaches include Infant Massage and Happiest Baby on the Block.

Guy Baker, RN

Guy graduated in 2004 from nursing school. He began his nursing career in the Newborn Nursery and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at a Metro Atlanta Hospital. He is certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics as a Neonatal Resuscitation Instructor as well as the American Heart Association as an Infant CPR Instructor.
Guy has one son and lives in the Grant Park area enjoys running, movies, and attending any type of sporting event.  He teaches Infant CPR.

Carolyn Tucker, LAPC

Carolyn has a Master’s degree in Counseling from Argosy University and was a Harvard Research Assistant. She is a psychotherapist and life coach at TRU Integrative Health and Wellness. Among other things, she is known for offering distance counseling, providing therapy via SKYPE, email or chat, in addition to traditional in-person care. Carolyn is a mother of four children whom she has homeschooled children for the last 12 years.  She teaches Mindful Grand-parenting

Courtney Crowdis, CLE

Courtney started teaching breastfeeding classes in 2011 because of her own struggles with nursing.  She has a deep desire to help women find satisfaction in nursing their newborns.  She currently teaches one-year-olds at a private Atlanta preschool.  She is a mother to two boys and enjoys spending time with them and her wonderful husband.  Courtney teaches Breastfeeding and Baby Basics.

Jill Dominguez, PPD, CLE

Jill earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from UGA, where she graduated magna cum laude.  She has more than six years’ experience as an instructor, and since 2010 has been a certified postpartum doula and lactation educator.  When she isn’t energetically mothering her 5-year-old son, she enjoys knitting and yoga.  She teaches one of Lumina Birth’s breastfeeding classes.

Alice Tuner, CCCE, LD

Alice is a Vanderbilt University graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering.  She has been a DONA certified birth doula since 2004 and has served as a doula for over 100 laboring mothers.  Alice is a Lamaze-Certified Childbirth Educator with over 7 years’ experience helping families with childbirth.  Alice is also a successful entrepreneur and the owner of two online retail businesses, as well as a mother of four young children.

Chad Henderson, JDMBA

Chad Henderson is a father of four beautiful children and husband of Lacy Henderson, one of the owners of Lumina Birth.  Chad teaches several classes for Lumina Birth, including Fatherhood 101 and Estate Planning for New Parents.  He also teaches business and real estate courses at Georgia State University, when he is not practicing business and real estate law at his firm, Henderson Legal in Midtown.  Chad enjoys playing and watching most sports, traveling, reading and writing.

Brittany Jennings, PT, DPT

Brittany is a Pediatric Physical Therapist and Developmental Specialist with extensive experience in working with infants in three of Atlanta's largest neonatal intensive care units.  She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Emory University in 2007 and has additional training in infant development and communication from Harvard University.
